Plaque Off Review

ProDen PlaqueOff supplement for cats

The Plaque Off is given once a day. One little scoop. And it is one tiny scoop. It takes 7 of those to fill 1/8 teaspoon. I left it out of the bottle as it was getting harder to retrieve it.

If your cat has plaque and tartar on their teeth, have a vet remove it and give your cat a thorough cleaning. Then the product will do a much better job at keeping the plaque off. Much like our own issues with dental plaque. We get the dentist to do a deep cleaning and then we brush and floss. And hopefully have a better visit the next time.

It is still important to brush your cat’s teeth, even with using supplements to put in their food.

Bad Breath in Cats

Found this interesting about bad breath for cats. Does your cat really have bad breath or does their breath just smell like chicken dinner or tuna? Up until these two characters, I had fed my cats dry food most of the time. I now own 2 finicky cats that balk at dry. I can put a little in their bowls if it is well mixed with can or cooked chicken or raw ground sirloin. So I was thinking the other day that maybe their breath isn’t as bad as I thought.

How ProDen works

ProDen PlaqueOff works systemically i.e. through the blood stream. It is thought to affect the ability of plaque to ‘stick’ to surfaces in the mouth and softens hard tartar deposits. Improvements should start to be seen between 3 and 8 weeks.

The unique kelp ingredient, A.N ProDen™, is 100% organic and natural. A.N ProDen™ is sustainably harvested in the clear waters off the Scandinavian coastline and contains no additives, making it healthy and safe for your pet. If used daily as directed, it will help reduce and control plaque, tartar and freshen breath.

Other Products from ProDen

Maybe you can get your cat to munch on food. Mine would more likely just swallow without ever using their chompers. So for me it would probably be a waste of money. But if your cat likes to chew, then their “soft chews” and “crunchy dental bites” would be worth considering. They have a variety of different flavors and even for kittens.

Such as: Salmon, Sweet Potato and Chicken, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin Flavors for cats and kittens.
